Anthem Community Church
Anthem Community is new and one of a series of churches launched by North Point Ministries in Atlanta. Their mission statement is simply "to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ." They do this by creating an irresistible environment, one that will peak the curiosity of un-churched friends and family.
Anthem will be the first to admit that Gainesville does not need another church. It needs a different kind of church, one that is focused on reaching the un-churched community through familiar environments, irresistible atmosphere, and excellence in presentation.
Anthem Community Church has remarkable vision. Their leadership knew what they wanted and had the faith to step out and spend more money than they were comfortable spending. They did this because they new that nothing short of excellence would be good enough.
In September of 2008, Moyers Sound Solutions partnered with Anthem Community Church and transformed a 250-seat room into a state-of-the-art worship facility. As a partner of North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, Georgia, Anthem relies on a live video feed for their weekly messages. To make this happen, we installed a 78x139, 16:9 video projection screen and an Eiki LCW3 16:9 native resolution projector.
The goal for the sound system was to provide extremely even coverage in the seating areas while offering the big sound (high dBspl, fat low end, etc.) for which North Point Ministries are noted. To achieve this, we installed a Roland Edirol Digital Console with digital snake, 2 Meyer Sound UPA 1P loudspeakers, 1 BAGEND Dual 18 self powered subwoofer, 2 Renkus Heinz CF-61 self powered loudspeakers for front fills, 5 Tannoy DI5A active self powered loudspeakers for distributed audio, and 1 Biamp Nexia SP system processor for all EQ, delay times and system limiting. All system equipment is powered by Furman power relay equipment which allows for power relay to be powered on and off in the proper sequences by turning on or off a single key.
With high quality video and sound in place, Anthem needed a lighting system to match. We also installed a new lighting rig which included a Jands Vista S3 lighting console, 4 Martin Mac 250 moving lights, 8 Chauvet LEDRain64 LED par cans, 2 hazers, and various ETC ellipsoidal and Par cans.
All combined, these systems brought to life the "irresistible, excellent" environments that North Point Ministries and Anthem Community Church feels is crucial to reaching the un-churched.
